PANGA Autonomous Real-time Data Transmission System

Central Washington University's PANGA Geodesy lab relays coastal GNSS signals directly to Ellensburg via a radio network. This system is completely free from existing communications networks and power systems that are expected to be disrupted in the event of a major earthquake.

With this radio array, PANGA can continue to process data from these important coastal sites that will show the amplitude of earth movement and therefore the size of tsunami to be expected. Built communications towers below:
